Q) Is it stressful of having to stick to a schedule of when you need to stream?
A) "Well I think like anything else that gets scheduled regularly, you get used to it and it becomes part of your daily routine so it's not that bad. I'd actually say it's a bit less stressful because even if you're not right on time or you take a day off you're only held accountable by yourself. There's no boss or manager to yell at you. (Well, maybe your viewers.) That being said, you need to be self-motivating and able to hold yourself accountable to stick with the schedule."
Q) Is it expensive/hard to live off of a job like this?
A) "I would say no, but it depends on what you stream and your financial situation. The main cost would be hardware. I know my PC cost me about $1200 but I can stream just about anything with no issues. Afterwards the only cost is time. I mention financial situations because, of course, you need internet, power, and a place to stay to stream. Any hour you spend streaming is an hour you won't spend working a formal job. Most streamers won't make a lot of money and stream for fun or as a hobby when they're not at work. This is why I'm working on sewing as a side hustle."
